Lilian Barrera is a neurodivergent, polyamorous, multilingual and queer screenwriter and artist based in Toronto. She was born in Mexico City, raised in Mississauga, and studied in Ottawa, Munich and Toronto.

Lilian has special interests in quantum physics, psychology, environmentalism, metaphysics and geopolitics, and they are certainly reflected in her creations. Lilian’s grander mission is to help evolve the collective consciousness by sharing her wisdom with the broadest audience possible.

Lilian is a Jane-of-All-Trades, having worked in marketing, government, childcare, translation, education, service and, of course, film industries since coming of age. She defies being defined as a writer, as opposed to creator, because she doesn’t stick to just one medium – she writes, paints, sings, designs and composes.
